I accepted the challenge to do a circle-based page. I decided to do matching pages... tough duty, but done!

A few of our "boys"... Reuben & Charles

With twenty grandkids, its great to have some one on one time with them occasionally. This time we did a two on two day with Reuben and Charles, who recently celebrated birthdays. It was a fun day of doing whatever they wanted without ten siblings around!

He ran again...

They're OFF... (he is left of the middle)

He is almost to the finish line... and happy!

Placed #11 in the race; 1st in the 60+ age group
Official Time: 27:36

Al learned of this 5K race at my grandkids' elementary school, just days before it occurred. He ran his entry form down to the school and did some more training.  (Grandson David was to run, but had a ballgame, and we know where his priorities are!)

Good job, Al! Try again next month at Jackson Park!

(HEY! Are those SKITTLES or M&Ms on the "pathway to home"?)

Red headed "Ruth bird" visiting us lately!

A red head bird we named "Ruth"
after our own red-head daughter!

What is it? Does anyone know?

We discovered this lovely bird last week at the feeder next to the patio. She is a lovely bird! Wish we knew all the names of the sweet characters God sends our way!

Mother's Day Photo

Ruth, Joy, Alice, Charity with me on Mom's Day

Getting us together in one spot was a challenge due to the distraction of Bailey's first day at church. Everyone wanted to take a turn holding her and getting their picture with the sweetheart.

Uncle Jesse gets a turn with Bailey.
(BIG GRIN, huh, Jesse?)

Bailey's shoes were part of her little socks! So CUTE! We love her so much! Wouldn't you know Grandpa used her in an illustration during her first service?

What a great day!  A wonderful family event!

Yellow Roses- monochromatic

Playing around on Photoshop today, I was inspired to create a page about the beautiful bouquet Charity gave me for my birthday last month. As I worked on it, I created all the papers, titles and embellishments.

Thanks for looking... it was my first monochromatic page (that means one-color, Alice).

Trio of happy faces!

My daughter posted this lovely photo of three of her daughters yesterday. (Savannah not present)

Don't they have the sweetest smiles? I think they love their new baby sister, Bailey!
